My Story

I've built a career in the Life Sciences industry that I'm deeply proud of, contributing over 15 years as an engineer and shifting to a business focus. Committed to promoting women in STEM, I volunteer actively by providing situational coaching for a range of women seeking consultation: college students, those early in career, grad school applicants, and career shifters.

Educational Highlights

  • MBA, Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University

  • M.Eng. in Biochemical Engineering, Lehigh University

  • B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Bucknell University

I believe in paying the life-changing mentorship I've received forward. With 5,000+ hours of coaching experienceI'm committed to delighting my clients and I recognize that it requires careful listening and adaptation. My practical experience navigating and advancing to roles of increasing responsibilities allows me to provide tangible, tested advice. Clients say I create a safe space for vulnerabilities and my emphasis on accountability, the helpful reminders, and consistent encouragement keeps the motivation behind our work going strong.

Giving an amplified voice to aspiring minority women leaders and challenging societal stereotypes on what makes the most competent leaders is a passion close to home. As an Asian American born to Taiwanese immigrants, I have plenty of experience battling the pressure to assimilate, losing touch with my inner self, and facing the need to fit in for my survival.

Through an approachable (and never intimidating) workstyle, I'm invested in developing a close connection with each client. Tell me what keeps you up at night -- you can say I'm the one in YOUR corner. The best part? Instead of just talking together we actually start DOING so that you can confidently be the rock you need to lean on.

As a life-long learner, I have embarked on many projects that not only enriched my work satisfaction, but showed me hidden strengths while contributing positively to my community. As a published author, a podcast featured guest, a retreat/conference organizer, and a networking pro, I invite you to join my community!

I'm glad you're here.

I've firmly and unapologetically decided to put my personal pursuits and the people most important to me on a pedestal above all else.

The journey to reach this critical realization was a huge struggle that took a toll on my health and well-being. As someone who previously believed in a singular identity around her career, I put so much pressure on factors that were simply beyond my control, leaving me stuck in self-pity whenever I faced professional setbacks. Through meaningful reflection and guided conversations, I grew empowered to stop feeling sorry for myself and to take real action.

The notion of Work/Life balance can be misleading in that the modern work environment does not have boundaries or cut-offs. Life is also complex and messy, we need to accept that so much is out of our direct control.

Each one of us plays several important roles with associated identities that makes up our complete selves. We can, and should, only ever aspire to be one whole person. So, What does your whole person look like?
